Key Responsibilities

  • •Support every phase of the mission lifecycle, including proposal/mission modeling, design, integration and test, launch, on-orbit operations, and decommissioning.
  • •Define ground and mission operations requirements and flow requirements to the space vehicle; create mission concepts of operation and reference missions.
  • •Design and validate ground segment capabilities (command and control, mission planning, mission data processing) and associated infrastructure.
  • •Implement and test space vehicle fault and autonomy, including fault detection/response and onboard command and control, using simulator and in-factory flight vehicle tests.
  • •Serve as lead technical authority during mission operations, provide oversight of nominal on-orbit operations, and lead mission rehearsals and launch/early-orbit commissioning activities.
