Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the day-to-day operations of Material Handling Engineers and Technicians to ensure 24x7 services availability for manufacturing plants.
  • •Manage engineers (direct reports) and technicians (direct/indirect) to staff resources appropriately and support performance assessments and team development.
  • •Own daily performance of material handling and automation equipment, driving throughput, cycle time, yield, equipment uptime, and OEE.
  • •Provide annual and quarterly goal planning, manage work assignments and load balancing, and build/manage department AOP budgets.
  • •Support capital equipment installation/commissioning and work with operational/global teams on process/tool/routing improvements for new and existing equipment.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 131,200 - 187,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated ability to manage others and motivate teams to achieve objectives.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering disciplines (Master’s degree or PhD in the specialty area is highly desired).
  • •Mechanical and/or Electrical engineering skills to lead a technical project from concept through design into production and sustaining.
  • •Advanced knowledge of mechanical design and machine automation, including conveyors/robots/AGV-AMRs, accumulators, and vision/sensors equipment.
  • •Working knowledge of LOTO and 70E electrical safety, plus project management experience covering schedule, budget, and equipment supplier interfaces.
