Job Summary

Manage statutory and financial reporting operations for the Accounting and Valuation team, including daily/monthly/weekly Net Asset Value (NAV) valuations. Oversee capital activity bookings, accruals, amortization, yields, and generation/validation of NAV through diagnostic checks and reporting packs. Reduce manual processes, support technology upgrades, lead UAT and projects, and drive quality, operational risk awareness, and escalation/relationship management with business partners across markets.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee daily/monthly/weekly NAV valuations, including capital activity bookings, accruals, amortization, yields, and diagnostic checks to generate and validate NAV.
•Identify and reduce manual processes, support and implement technology upgrades, and lead User Acceptance Testing and projects for business partners and Markets Securities Services Bangalore.
•Devise and manage management information requirements and tracking mechanisms; ensure business data requirements and reporting/returns are completed accurately within agreed timescales.
•Plan for standardization across markets using best practices; review NAV packs and monitor process productivity and quality targets to meet objectives and customer SLA’s.
•Maintain operational risk awareness, ensure GA V and NAV procedures are followed, drive quality campaigns, resolve issues/escalate as needed, and maintain relationships with customer business areas.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in accounting or qualifications in the accounting/finance industry.
•3-5 years of relevant funds administration experience.
•Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and ability to monitor and meet operational goals.
•Complete understanding of trade life cycle, capital markets, financial instruments, and accounting principles.
•Excellent knowledge of NAV calculation and end-to-end fund accounting model, plus strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
