Key Responsibilities

•Anticipate and respond to guests’ needs, answering questions and making recommendations.
•Suggestively sell beverages and menu items, take orders, and communicate drink orders to the bar via the Point of Sales system.
•Deliver drinks through large crowds while maintaining atmosphere control by circulating throughout the shift.
•Remove dirty glasses and dishes, clear tables, and clean spills/obstacles using proper lifting techniques.
•Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinances and House of Blues alcohol policies, including ID checks and refusing service to intoxicated guests.

Key Requirements

•Ability to work late hours and maintain a flexible schedule.
•Working knowledge of cocktail tray service, basic food service, responsible alcohol service, drink recipes and garnishes, and point of sales systems.
•3 years of work experience interacting with people in a positive environment.
•Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification (or equivalent).
•Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety-minded manner.
