Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of 4–6 engineers with strong technical ownership.
  • •Coach engineers through feedback, career development, calibration, and performance management.
  • •Scale the team via recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
  • •Stay hands-on with architecture, pair programming, coding, code reviews, and on-call.
  • •Partner with product and design to plan sprints/roadmaps, drive system design and quality/observability/reliability/scalability, and deliver measurable outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of professional software engineering experience with modern full-stack technologies, plus 2+ years of hands-on engineering management experience.
  • •Have hired engineers and managed performance, promotions, and career development.
  • •Remain technical enough to pair program and contribute directly when needed.
  • •Bring strong product judgment, including writing PRDs and sizing opportunities.
  • •Be highly proficient with React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL (or similar modern stacks).
