Job Summary

Lead project schedule and project controls across complex infrastructure and buildings programs, building robust baselines and driving performance through recovery, revised schedules, and progress reporting. Ensure schedules comply with RTA requirements, coordinate approvals and milestone phasing, conduct risk and delay analysis (including TIA), and support EOT claims. Partner across construction, procurement, design, and commercial teams, while mentoring junior planning staff.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop, review, and maintain detailed project schedules (baseline, recovery, and revised programs) using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software.
•Coordinate planning activities with RTA approval procedures, including interim milestones, traffic staging, and sectional handover requirements, and integrate NOCs, permits, and related approvals into the schedule.
•Monitor progress versus the approved baseline, identify delays, risks, and critical path impacts, and perform schedule risk, delay, and time impact analysis (TIA).
•Review contractors’ programs and planning submissions (including method statements and manpower histograms) against contractual milestones, KPIs, and phasing requirements.
•Support EOT (Extension of Time) claims, track long-lead items and permits, run weekly/monthly planning meetings, maintain QA/QC documentation, and mentor junior planning engineers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field (Master’s preferred).
•15+ years’ experience in a senior planning/project controls role with cost and standard planning capability, consultancy, and local market experience.
•Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (or equivalent), cost control, EVM, risk analysis, and executive-quality reporting.
•Strong client-facing leadership and clear communication.
•Experience across infrastructure and buildings programs with proven governance and track record.
