Job Summary

Provide dedicated service engineering support for the P-8I fleet operated by the Indian Defense Forces at INS Rajali. Coordinate engineering-backed responses to customer technical requests, troubleshoot defects using technical data and maintenance history, and ensure airworthiness-compliant repair and maintenance actions. Monitor failure and reliability trends, conduct root cause analysis with corrective/preventative actions, and advise program management to sustain safe, efficient fleet operations in India.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate and deliver engineering-backed responses to P-8I Technical Requests (TRs) raised by the India customer.
•Review technical data from the India customer, field service representatives, suppliers, and internal design engineering to troubleshoot defects and recommend airworthiness-compliant repair/maintenance actions.
•Review technical manuals, airworthiness documentation, maintenance history, safety messages, and product definition materials relevant to P-8I support in India.
•Monitor failure and reliability trends for the India P-8I fleet and propose part or maintenance practice changes to improve supportability, reliability, and maintainability.
•Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventative actions to ensure safe and efficient fleet operations; oversee field engineering studies and repairs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or non-US equivalent qualifications related to the work statement.
•8+ years of 737NG or P-8 Field Service / Service Engineering experience.
•Expert knowledge of 737NG or P-8 platform technical fundamentals.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•Ability to interpret technical manuals, airworthiness documentation, maintenance history, safety messages, and product definition documents for P-8I support in India.
