Job Summary

Lead manufacturing optimization across Anduril’s U.S. production sites by implementing lean operating systems, driving continuous improvement, and stabilizing critical constraints. Partner with senior manufacturing leadership to standardize processes, improve first-pass yield, and enhance efficiency, quality, and throughput. Coach managers and frontline teams through daily Gemba and structured problem-solving (A3/8D, kaizen), and build scalable tools and playbooks to replicate best practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Establish a scalable operating system aligned to safety, quality, delivery, and cost using tiered accountability, KPI trees, and visual management.
•Strengthen cross-functional execution by integrating Operations, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Test into shared problem-solving action plans.
•Drive continuous improvement through structured problem solving (A3/8D), waste elimination, and targeted kaizen to improve flow and performance.
•Lead rapid triage on critical constraints and escapes, stabilizing safety/quality events and throughput/schedule risks using standard escalation and containment playbooks.
•Coach and develop Managers, Supervisors, and Team Leaders using daily Gemba, leader standard work, and structured feedback while capturing and replicating best practices across sites.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 111,000 - 135,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in manufacturing and production operations.
•2+ years in a supervisor or production operations lead/manager role in a high-volume production environment.
•Strong understanding of product lifecycle (NPI to scaled production), LEAN manufacturing principles, and change management (ECOs).
•Ability to interpret technical documentation including mechanical drawings, work instructions, equipment specs, and electrical schematics.
•Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
