Job Summary

Lead the 787 Airframe Structures team on the Fuselage Life Cycle Product Team, supporting structures analysis and design for the 787 S41 and final body joints. Own staff and budget planning, develop and execute business strategies, oversee supplier resources, and drive process improvements. Guide and mentor engineers, manage daily priorities, support hiring, and ensure technical approaches meet safety and business requirements. Expect domestic and international travel (~10%).

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in the Aerospace Industry.
•At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large-scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) or completion of Boeing’s “Exploring Leadership”.
•Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members’ technical and leadership capabilities.
•Experience using project management methodologies, including developing project plans, performance management, and managing issues and risks.
