Job Summary

Provide first line of defense risk leadership for AI software engineering by identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring GenAI and AI-enabled delivery risks. Partner with domain enablement, engineering, model risk, compliance, and cyber teams to translate regulatory and policy expectations into actionable engineering controls across the AI SDLC/PLC. Govern AI model and agent inventory, track control effectiveness with KRIs/KPIs, and support audit and regulatory engagements.

Key Responsibilities

•Own first line of defense risk management for AI software engineering, covering identification, assessment, mitigation, and ongoing monitoring across the AI development lifecycle.
•Assess and evolve PLC/SDLC standards for GenAI use cases, incorporating emerging regulatory expectations and best practices.
•Define and maintain control frameworks for AI-specific risks (model risk, data risk, bias/fairness/explainability, GenAI/LLM risks, and third-party/foundation model usage).
•Translate regulatory and policy requirements into actionable engineering controls aligned with internal risk frameworks and external expectations.
•Establish AI asset inventory and agent governance; monitor control effectiveness via testing/validation and KRIs/KPIs; support audit and regulatory engagements with documentation and control evidence.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 96,000 - 181,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree (preferred).
•Equivalent experience (required) in risk management and AI governance.
•10+ years of relevant experience (required).
•Expert knowledge of processes/tools for assessing and controlling organizational risk exposure, including internal controls.
•Extensive experience in regulatory environments and translating requirements into actionable controls.
