Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead instrumentation and controls scope from detailed design and procurement through construction, commissioning, startup, and handover.
  • •Review key engineering deliverables including P&IDs, control philosophies, system architecture, instrument indexes, data sheets, specifications, and cause-and-effect diagrams.
  • •Select and apply field instruments, control valves, analyzers, safety devices, and automation systems such as DCS, PLC, and SCADA.
  • •Develop control strategies, process logic, interlocks, alarms, and operating sequences in partnership with process engineering and operations.
  • •Support site installation and commissioning activities including calibration, loop checks, control system testing, startup, troubleshooting, and performance stabilization.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Instrumentation, Automation, Control Systems, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • •10+ years leading automation, instrumentation, or controls projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Experience in process industries such as chemicals, food ingredients, pharmaceuticals, or related engineering consulting.
  • •Hands-on experience with DCS, PLC, SCADA or industrial automation systems; DeltaV knowledge is a plus.
  • •Experience with commissioning and startup activities; process safety management experience required.
