Job Summary

Build and ship the portable libraries that power Canva across iOS, Android, and web. Own the interface, safety model, and ergonomics for engineers consuming your system-language libraries, using Rust (and C/C++ as on the table) behind a React Native–centered hybrid stack. Collaborate with other Staff engineers, lead by code and hands-on delivery, and communicate clearly through design docs and technical tradeoffs that set the foundation for future mobile work.
