Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform power system analyses (power flow, short circuit, stability) using tools such as PSS/E, PowerWorld, PSLF, ASPEN, or similar.
  • •Develop and validate RMS and EMT models supporting reliable and secure grid interconnections.
  • •Prepare complete, high-quality interconnection applications and technical documentation for North American jurisdictions.
  • •Lead and contribute to study review meetings, providing clear technical insight to clients and project partners.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to support safe, efficient, forward-looking grid planning and renewable integration.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •BSEE and hands-on experience in transmission planning and/or model development.
  • •Practical knowledge using power system tools such as PSS/E/PSSE, PSLF, PSCAD, ASPEN, or equivalent.
  • •Ability to communicate clearly through technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
  • •Comfort managing competing deadlines in a customer-focused, project-oriented environment.
  • •Open to travel (approximately 10% or more at times).
