Key Responsibilities

  • •Re-engineer the core product to scale globally and optimize routing latency for globally distributed teams.
  • •Rewrite portions of the core Teleport product to support cloud product goals.
  • •Build and operate monitoring and observability to alert on production issues with minimal false positives.
  • •Automate the highest-toil operational activities and perform reliability operations (patching, scaling, backup/restore, disaster recovery).
  • •Investigate outages/incidents and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7/365 uptime.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and/or SRE/DevOps roles.
  • •Strong experience in Linux systems, networking, containers, and troubleshooting.
  • •Solid Go and Kubernetes development experience.
  • •Experience building automation (scripts/tooling) and submitting patches to the product codebase.
  • •AWS cloud experience preferred; GCP experience acceptable.
