Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure a continuous flow of product through the production process.
  • •Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed; notify the supervisor if machines require maintenance.
  • •Resolve jams and equipment malfunctions and maintain a safe work environment.
  • •Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the workspace and follow Tyson policies and procedures.
  • •In Raw or RTE areas, handle ingredients/materials and use systems/alerts (including MES system alerts) to resolve production issues.

Key Requirements

  • •3 months of machine or packer operator experience documented on your application.
  • •Minimum of 6 months of continuous work in the last 3 years.
  • •Willingness to be exposed to a cold/damp work environment with temperatures ranging from 28-42 degrees.
  • •Willingness to lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs.
  • •Ability to stand, bend, reach overhead, twist, and perform repetitive motions for long periods (8-12 hours a day).
