Key Responsibilities

  • •Own IT strategy, roadmap, budget, and vendor landscape across support, business applications, integrations, automation, and internal AI tooling.
  • •Lead, grow, and develop the IT Support and IT Tooling & Automation teams; serve as escalation point and standard-setter for both.
  • •Administer and rationalize business-critical SaaS systems, designing reliable API-driven workflows and data synchronization across platforms.
  • •Champion code-first automation (scripts, internal services, event-driven pipelines, internal CLI tools, ChatOps) and build the IT Golden Path for onboarding/offboarding and self-service IT requests.
  • •Own internal AI tooling and adoption end to end—evaluate/procure/administer tools, enforce guardrails with Security and Legal, and measure usage, cost, and productivity impact.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in IT engineering, business systems engineering, or internal platform engineering at SaaS/tech companies, including 3+ years leading a team owning internal business systems and automation.
  • •Hands-on engineering background: can read/review/write automation code in Python (or comparable), and is fluent with APIs, webhooks, OAuth flows, and integration frameworks.
  • •Proven ownership of a modern SaaS business application landscape (e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot, billing/finance, HR, Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, GitHub, Notion) with cross-system integration and data synchronization at scale.
  • •Delivery of AI tooling into an organization, including LLM-based assistants/knowledge retrieval/AI-assisted support/agentic workflow automation, plus governance elements like seat administration and cost control.
  • •Deep identity and security experience (SSO/SAML/SCIM, identity lifecycle automation, MDM such as JumpCloud, Zero Trust), plus experience with ISO 27001/SOC2/GDPR audits.
