Job Summary

Embed directly within a customer’s environment as a dedicated technical expert, acting as an extension of their team to lead and optimize Cloudflare solutions. Own complex, high-stakes engagements with significant autonomy—designing and configuring solutions, producing technical architecture and delivery artifacts, and running workshops for knowledge transfer. Advocate for customer needs across Engineering, Support, and Product while partnering with account and delivery stakeholders to drive outcomes aligned to business goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a trusted, embedded member of the customer’s technical team, following change-management processes and ensuring risk mitigation and operational continuity.
•Design, configure, and optimize Cloudflare solutions within the customer environment; implement changes, build prototypes, and troubleshoot issues in real time.
•Provide proactive architectural guidance and best-practice recommendations, including producing solution designs, HLDs/LLDs, test and deployment plans, migration plans, and as-builts.
•Lead technical workshops and knowledge-transfer sessions, documenting decisions, runbooks, and configurations to ensure continuity.
•Act as the voice of the customer within Cloudflare by surfacing product gaps and escalation items, and partner with account and delivery stakeholders to align on account strategy and expansion opportunities.

Key Requirements

•15+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
•Demonstrated expertise leading complex, enterprise-scale customer engagements in areas such as Applications, Network, or Zero Trust/SASE.
•Hands-on ability to implement, configure, and troubleshoot complex solutions; infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform) and scripting (Python, JavaScript, Bash) are highly desirable.
•Experience with project and program management, including scoping/estimating and delivering in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
•Strong communication and executive presence, including translating complex technical concepts for technical and executive audiences.
