Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, test, calibrate, repair, and maintain flow meters and related equipment (including regulator settings, telemetering systems, and electronic flow computers) and specified safety-related components.
  • •Perform measurement, sampling, and regulation operations and maintenance at facilities.
  • •Calibrate and maintain test instrumentation and auxiliary equipment.
  • •Inspect, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on measurement devices such as flow computers, mass flow meters, turbine meters, Coriolis meters, gas chromatographs, and sulfur analyzers.
  • •Prepare required reports and documents (e.g., job orders/completion reports, meter/regulator installation/removal reports, DOT compliance reports, sample reports, batch tickets) and witness meter calibrations per contractual obligations.

Key Requirements

  • •Training and/or experience with meter testing and installation, regulating flow and pressure, and servicing/repairing measuring station equipment.
  • •Experience interpreting measurement data and understanding characteristics of product handled.
  • •Ability to read and interpret maps, plats/atlas pages, dials/gauges, sample reports, drawings, procedures, correction tables, and operation/safety manuals.
  • •Ability to install, test, repair, and maintain measurement and regulation equipment, and use/maintain tools used to regulate gas flow.
  • •Must be able to obtain a Class D CDL in Illinois and drive under the CMV program.
