Job Summary

Maintain and repair a variety of rental and customer-owned heavy equipment and aerial lifts at EquipmentShare’s Columbia, SC facility. Use real-time tech to create and monitor work orders, track service intervals, diagnose mechanical issues, and order parts. Perform safe repairs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems, document work daily, assist with equipment and parts pickup/delivery, and help train lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the company’s tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders and track machine service intervals.
•Diagnose issues quickly, determine root cause and corrective action, and order needed parts.
•Perform safe maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems using independent judgment.
•Maintain complete and timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed on a daily basis.
•Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts; travel to customer job sites when required and assist in training lower-level technicians as needed.
