Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and deliver the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for KSA, ensuring accuracy, timeliness (D+3 target), and completeness.
  • •Prepare IFRS financial statements with local (SOCPA) adjustments, including supporting schedules and reconciliations.
  • •Support ZATCA filings (CIT, Zakat, VAT, WHT, CTDF) and SAMA regulatory/prudential returns, ensuring they reconcile to the financial statements.
  • •Perform balance-sheet reconciliations, maintain general ledger integrity, and support IFRS 9 provisioning/ECL calculations for customer and merchant receivables.
  • •Support external audits with complete documentation, strengthen internal controls and segregation of duties, and mentor/review junior finance team members.

Key Requirements

  • •4–6 years of experience in financial reporting, statutory reporting, or external audit in fintech, bank, or Big 4 environments.
  • •Strong IFRS knowledge (especially IFRS 9, 15, 16) and SOCPA/local GAAP, with working knowledge of Saudi tax regulations (Zakat, CIT, VAT, Withholding Tax).
  • •Hands-on experience preparing IFRS financial statements with local adjustments and running month-end close.
  • •Experience supporting statutory audits and regulatory submissions to authorities such as ZATCA and SAMA.
  • •Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or SOCPA) preferred; advanced Excel skills and ERP experience preferred (Oracle NetSuite a plus).
