Key Responsibilities

  • •Sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures and lead courageous safety leadership.
  • •Provide technical guidance and leadership to the Integrated Planning engineering team.
  • •Optimize deployment of the technical workforce and define strategy for coming months and years.
  • •Deliver a six-week rolling plan, monthly forecasts, an annual budget, and a 3-Year Business Plan.
  • •Supervise drill and blast aspects (design standards, implementation, performance review, and continuous improvement) and oversee forecast planning aligned to production and sustainability commitments.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 138,000 - 170,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Engineering (Mining or related).
  • •Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC).
  • •Minimum 8 years of experience, including coordinating and supervising an engineering team in a mining or process setting.
  • •Strong technical background with analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to plan across long-term horizons.
  • •Excellent digital proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation applications (Microsoft Office SuiteĀ®).
