Job Function: Software Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver high-quality flood modelling and hydrology projects under general supervision
•Undertake a range of technical and administrative tasks related to groundwater investigations and hydrological studies
•Contribute to assignments spanning the wider field of hydrology and related disciplines, working to defined project terms with regular guidance
•Analyze hydrological and environmental data, developing models and preparing clear, concise technical reports
•Monitor and interpret data to assess the impacts of upstream activities, ensuring compliance with permits and regulatory requirements

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, Water Resources, or a related discipline
•Experience in hydraulic and hydrological modelling (e.g., HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, MIKE FLOOD, InfoWorks ICM)
•Strong understanding of flood risk assessment, drainage, and river processes
•Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS or QGIS)
•Experience analysing large datasets and preparing technical reports
