  • •Promote and follow plant safety guidelines, participate in safety meetings, and support the safety program and compliance with safety standards.
  • •Monitor, inspect, and review plant activities; ensure production schedules align with sales forecasts.
  • •Oversee maintenance activities, quality programs, and hazardous waste fuel program activities, including attending RCRA training for waste-derived fuel.
  • •Meet with government agencies and community groups to ensure compliance with environmental regulations, policies, and standards; prepare regular plant production reports.
  • •Investigate customer and quality problems, establish plant goals and standards, analyze plant costs to improve productivity, and develop continuous improvement plans.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 4-year bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, natural sciences, business administration, or closely related field.
  • •10+ years of experience in a cement or lime manufacturing facility with exposure to plant management responsibilities.
  • •Knowledge of safety and environmental health regulations and cement chemistry, physical testing, and concrete performance.
