Job Summary

Lead the Air Dominance (AD) Contracts team by overseeing proposal and contract activity—from RFP review and negotiation strategy to contract administration and customer relationship management. Advise leadership on contractual rights/obligations and program risk mitigation, manage multiple government contracts as the primary interface with Prime Contracting Officers, and negotiate to maximize bookings, sales, cash, and profit. Travel as needed for program and customer meetings.

Key Responsibilities

•Review RFPs, structure business deals, establish negotiation strategy, formalize contractual documents, and conduct frequent customer interface (virtual and in-person).
•Advise Raytheon leadership on contractual rights and obligations and ways to mitigate contractual/program risks; compile and analyze data and provide recommendations.
•Manage multiple contracts as the primary interface with customers’ Prime Contracting Officers (PCOs).
•Conduct timely negotiations and resolve customer issues to maximize key financial metrics such as bookings, sales, cash, and profit.
•Draft complex letters communicating Raytheon’s business position; work independently and escalate matters requiring leadership review; respond to urgent contract and proposal needs; travel as needed.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a University Degree (or equivalent experience) with minimum 8 years relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years’ experience.
•Experience with U.S. Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) and related regulations.
•Experience with management/administration in one or more of: contracts, subcontracts, procurement, acquisitions, or supply chain.
•Active and transferable Secret U.S. Government security clearance required prior to start, with ability to obtain program access after start date.
