Key Responsibilities

  • •Load, secure, transport, and unload CarMax vehicles safely and efficiently, including hands-on freight handling and working outdoors.

Key Requirements

  • •21+ years old with a valid state-issued driver’s license.
  • •Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state and 2+ years of Class A CDL driving experience.
  • •Clean driving record with no serious violations in the past three years and ability to meet CarMax Driver Safety Evaluation criteria.
  • •Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive load securement tasks (e.g., chains, binders, straps).
  • •Meet DOT & FMCSA qualification requirements and be comfortable working outdoors in inclement weather.
