Job Summary

Support and deliver evidence-based cognitive, psychological, and behavioral skills training to enhance mental performance and readiness for military personnel. Develop and evaluate cognitive performance programs to strengthen attention, learning, emotional regulation, and decision-making under pressure, collaborating across the Human Performance team to improve overall readiness and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide evidence-based cognitive, psychological, and behavioral skills training to enhance mental performance and readiness for SOCOM personnel in individual and group settings
•Develop, implement, and evaluate cognitive performance programs to strengthen attention, adaptability, learning, emotional regulation, and decision-making under pressure
•Collaborate with the HP team to improve overall performance, readiness, and resilience across multiple sites
•Educate on executive function, sleep, self-regulation, attention, memory, goal setting, visualization, and planning as needed
•Document services offered in HP enterprise platforms and adjust productivity levels as required by local leadership

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in human performance, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Cognitive Science, Cognitive Neuroscience, Sport Sciences, Performance Psychology, Psychology, or mental health discipline with a specialization in Performance Psychology (Doctoral degree preferred)
•Minimum of three (3) years post-graduate experience as a cognitive performance practitioner or sport psychologist
•Certification of training for heart rate variability (HRV) through BCIA or relevant certification, or 1+ year of experience delivering HRV training in a high-performance setting and willingness to obtain BCIA HRV certification within one year
•US Citizenship Required: Yes
•Secret or Top-Secret Clearance, or ability to obtain clearance
