Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and drive China-specific AI strategy across technology, portfolio, and business alignment with global objectives.
  • •Recruit, onboard, and develop a new AI Group team in China, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and AI excellence with coaching and succession planning.
  • •Translate emerging AI technologies into industrial AI opportunities for China customers across 0-to-1 and ongoing lifecycle management environments.
  • •Lead AI requirements management and end-to-end AI roadmap creation and prioritization, ensuring alignment across engineering, product, and commercial teams.
  • •Partner cross-functionally (portfolio, R&D, sales, marketing, customer success) and establish KPIs, manage budgets, and report progress to global and regional leadership for AI portfolio lifecycle health.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of experience with at least 5 years in an AI technical leadership role leading complex AI portfolios across emerging 0-to-1 and established products.
  • •Recent experience with modern AI paradigms including world models, foundation models, multi-modal language models, agent-based systems and orchestration, and context retrieval/augmentation.
  • •Experience with responsible deployment, model drift mitigation, privacy-preserving federated learning, and AI governance best practices.
  • •Deep technical background applying AI in highly regulated industries, with experience shipping code or emerging AI capabilities to production for the China market.
  • •Expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks (Jax, TensorFlow, PyTorch) plus state-of-the-art ML techniques, along with fluent Mandarin and English and a Master’s degree in a technical field.
