Key Responsibilities

•Oversee melt on the RA unit and determine when to atomize melt to minimize loss due to malfunctions
•Coordinate crew efforts to ensure operations are completed in a timely fashion and minimize turnaround time
•Operate rotary atomization furnace, isolate problems in furnace system, and perform routine maintenance on furnace and associated equipment
•Set up and operate furnace through various cycles using written and verbal instructions
•Inspect furnace, crucible, fittings, tundish assembly, and other critical areas to ensure conditions do not jeopardize the run
