Key Responsibilities

•Own the end-to-end development of AI-powered product features, from the React/TypeScript UI to the Node.js/Python backend, enabling real-time streaming and human-in-the-loop interactions.
•Translate AI capabilities (RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, structured reasoning) into natural, actionable user interactions for compliance practitioners.
•Partner with AI engineers to define API contracts and output schemas; translate complex AI capabilities into user-facing features.
•Advocate for the user perspective in technical decisions and surface where model outputs break down to drive product improvements.
•Build user-facing feedback loops and product-level observability (latency, engagement, task completion) to inform the broader AI team and ensure reliable production performance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 192,000 - 259,800 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping full-stack features in production
•2+ years of experience building AI-powered product features
•Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript with experience building responsive, interactive UIs that handle async, streaming, and real-time data
•Solid Python and Node.js/Typescript skills with experience designing and consuming APIs that integrate with LLM providers or AI services
•Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) including prompt engineering, context management, RAG, and structured outputs
