Job Summary

Test asphalt, soil, concrete, and aggregates to verify they meet required specifications. Partner with Quality Control leadership to support daily production schedules and evaluate test results. Maintain safety and ethical compliance in line with company standards and OSHA guidelines, document findings for the appropriate personnel or agency, and respond to issues as they arise while working outside in the field.

Key Responsibilities

•Test asphalt, soil, concrete, and aggregates to ensure required specifications are met.
•Coordinate daily/weekly scheduling with management and support daily production schedules/estimates.
•Partner with staff reporting to the Quality Control Manager to help ensure specifications are achieved.
•Prepare and submit proper documentation to the appropriate Quality Control personnel and/or agency.
•Work in compliance with ethical behavior and safety standards and evaluate test results to address issues as they arise.

Key Requirements

•Partner and coordinate daily/weekly scheduling with management while supporting quality control needs.
•Understand material procedures and production, and be able to evaluate test results and address problems that arise.
•Have basic computer skills using Word, Outlook, and Excel to support documentation.
•Knowledge to ensure ethical behavior and safety standards in line with company requirements and OSHA guidelines.
•Maintain PPE, lift/carry up to 50 lbs, pass drug test and criminal check, and maintain regular attendance.
