Key Responsibilities

•Own and deliver the technical roadmap for your engineering domain, designing scalable, cost-efficient, low-latency platform solutions.
•Build clean, maintainable, high-performance code for APIs and core platform features that scale with global growth.
•Identify architectural bottlenecks and technical debt, and drive iterative refactoring plans without compromising delivery.
•Lead operational excellence by taking ownership of complex distributed SaaS production issues, performing RCA and implementing permanent preventive safeguards.
•Establish engineering standards through code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration; coach and mentor engineers across functions.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
•12 to 15 years of hands-on software engineering and systems/platform engineering experience in modern distributed SaaS environments.
•Proven track record owning end-to-end architecture and technical strategy for large-scale products or core platform infrastructure.
•Demonstrated experience building and maintaining high-availability, low-latency, high-throughput systems under aggressive deployment schedules.
•Expert-level backend skills in Java (Spring/Spring Boot) or Python and deep knowledge of distributed systems architecture, microservices, RESTful APIs, and messaging queues.
