Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver the full breadth of personal financial counseling services to service members and families at assigned military installations.
  • •Provide one-on-one counseling, consultations with commanders or providers, briefings/presentations, and referral resources.
  • •Work with installation and military branch points of contact to ensure the program stays within scope and meets installation needs.
  • •Develop and provide financial informational materials and coordinate Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
  • •Use virtual counseling/electronic communication methods when authorized, and manage duty-to-warn situations per DoD protocol.

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required (may consider associate degree plus 4 years’ experience or high school diploma plus 6 years’ experience in lieu of a bachelor's).
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •If required by the contract, must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • •Must have one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
