  • •Lead, grow, and develop the Controls Engineering team for Solid Rocket Motor production in McHenry, MS, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
  • •Plan, budget, and track capital and continuous improvement projects for automation and controls at the facility
  • •Partner with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to represent controls scope, schedule, and staffing on facility projects
  • •Own and enforce internal standards for control system architecture, documentation, and regulatory compliance
  • •Oversee functional safety work and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation downtime

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • •8+ years of controls and automation experience in a production environment
  • •Working knowledge of Siemens PLC programming (Ladder and Structured Text)
  • •Experience owning scope, budget, and schedule for capital and continuous improvement projects
  • •Experience with Risk Assessments and Controls Safety Design, including SCADA/OT networking and NFPA70e electrical safety practices
