Job Summary

Handle a delegated and non-delegated EL/PL multi-track claims caseload within Keoghs’ Corporate Risk Team. Build relationships with clients and insurers, assess liability and quantum, and develop strategies to achieve the best outcomes. Progress files through the firm’s case management system, draft pleadings with defence and witness evidence, and attend court/settlement discussions by telephone or in person while meeting targets for chargeable hours and WIP.

Key Responsibilities

•Build relationships with Keoghs clients and liaise with clients and, where appropriate, insurers.
•Manage a mixed EL/PL predominantly multi-track caseload, including claims typically valued £25k–£100k.
•Assess and advise on liability and quantum.
•Devise case resolution strategies, identifying evidence to investigate and collate.
•Progress files from receipt to closure using the firm’s case management system and draft pleadings, including defences and witness evidence.

Key Requirements
