Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with OSG PM leaders and project managers to track and monitor project spending.
  • •Create and update forecast cost reports (monthly/current/future spend, ETC/EAC) and maintain required cost reporting tools and dashboards.
  • •Identify cost overruns, track contingency and completion dates, and submit project completion reports as needed.
  • •Review project costs for compliance with regulatory, company/department guidelines, including proper GAAP/FERC classification where applicable.
  • •Report and analyze significant cost variances and support accurate project accruals with appropriate documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or Engineering, or applicable experience.
  • •Solid understanding of GAAP and strong aptitude in project cost controls, forecasting, and accruals.
  • •Ability to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal controls.
  • •Highly competent with Microsoft Excel and experience creating and updating cost/forecast reports.
  • •Experience working with project managers on cost control, forecasting, and report creation; familiarity with Lawson (or other ERP) is required/expected.
