Key Responsibilities

  • •Own accounting and reporting for Global Payments entities in APAC, including Singapore.
  • •Post journal entries to support smooth monthly and quarterly closings; prepare trial balances and financial statements.
  • •Conduct monthly account reconciliations and related accounting tasks.
  • •Liaise with external auditors and manage the full audit cycle for annual financial audits and statutory reporting.
  • •Provide financial data for tax submissions, government declarations, and other statutory filings; collaborate with Tax, Treasury, and FSSC on local compliance and support ad-hoc system and process improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • •Extensive experience in accounting and reporting within payments or financial institutions across SEA, including financial and compliance reporting.
  • •Familiarity with seller finance, Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL), and other credit businesses and related accounting assessments.
  • •Experience with month-end closing, analytical reviews, preparing full sets of accounts, and supporting financial and compliance reporting.
  • •Knowledge of tax requirements, regulatory compliance across SEA, and financial internal control processes.
