Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop backend automation integrating metadata sources to generate governed artifacts, such as data contracts for review and publication.
  • •Design and build agent-enabled applications and workflows, including MCP servers and tools like a data-contract generator and data-readiness assessment utility.
  • •Build user-facing interfaces for platform and data discovery workflows.
  • •Deliver production-quality services using strong API design, testing, and CI/CD practices.
  • •Collaborate with data engineering and governance partners to make data discoverable, trustworthy, and easy to consume across the platform.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • •6+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on fullstack development.
  • •Strong Python engineering skills including API/service design (e.g., FastAPI), asynchronous programming, and schema validation (Pydantic / JSON Schema).
  • •Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices, including unit and integration testing plus CI/CD practices.
  • •Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js) and TypeScript, plus cloud/serverless experience (preferably AWS).
