Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial environments, using HVAC theory, pipe fitting knowledge, and mechanical layouts. Coordinate with team leaders and customers for installations and repairs, diagnose issues, and ensure customer satisfaction while following blueprints and safety standards. Work includes overtime/weekends and occasional overnight stays as needed.

•Serve as direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Use software/technology and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent and typically 3-5+ years of HVAC experience; technical school or formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with a handheld computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations (e.g., DUI, hit and run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving).
•EPA Certification.
•Ability to work overtime and weekends as the business requires, including occasional overnight stays.
