Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in line with IFRS, Mexican GAAP, regulatory requirements, and Allianz Group standards.
  • •Serve as accounting governance lead, ensuring consistent and appropriate accounting methods, policies, and controls.
  • •Monitor balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting controls to support reliable and accurate financial statements.
  • •Lead and coordinate statutory audits, partnering with external auditors to resolve complex accounting matters.
  • •Provide technical accounting expertise on IFRS and Mexican tax regulations, drive remediation plans and process improvements, and support finance transformation initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional accounting certification is an asset.
  • •10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, governance, audit, or regulatory compliance.
  • •Deep expertise in IFRS with strong knowledge of Mexican accounting and tax regulations.
  • •Proven experience managing complex statutory audits and working with external auditors.
