Job Summary

Support Korea’s financial operations from Tokyo as a hands-on Senior Accountant within the Finance team. Own accounts payable/receivable activities, cash receipts reconciliation, month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis. Prepare monthly reporting for Group Finance and assist with Korea month/year-end close, budgeting/forecasting, cashflow updates, and banking support. Coordinate payroll, tax, statutory compliance, audits, and support project accounting and revenue recognition.

Key Responsibilities

•Review vendor invoices, ensure proper coding/approval, process accounts payable transactions, and coordinate vendor payments.
•Prepare and issue customer invoices, monitor collections, follow up on outstanding receivables, and record cash receipts with customer account reconciliation.
•Prepare month-end journal entries and supporting schedules, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and analyze significant variances.
•Assist with budgeting/forecasting, month-end and year-end closing activities for the Korea operation, and support monthly reporting to Group Finance.
•Perform cashflow management and banking activities (bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasts, day-to-day banking support) and support payroll, tax, and statutory compliance with external providers and audits.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
•3–6 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
•Experience with general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end closing.
•Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
•Experience working with accounting or ERP systems, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
