Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a trusted technical advisor for one or more named strategic accounts, building deep relationships with data and AI platform leaders
  • •Help shape customers’ AI strategy by designing GenAI/ML architectures, evaluating build-vs-buy decisions, and enabling production deployments on Databricks
  • •Partner with sales to provide hands-on technical leadership across the full data and AI lifecycle and develop account strategies
  • •Consult on Lakehouse architectures and deliver proofs of concept spanning data engineering, data warehousing, machine learning, and GenAI (including integration validation)
  • •Promote and recruit contributors for Databricks-inspired open-source projects such as Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, and Unity Catalog

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years in data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or a similar pre-sales/consulting role
  • •8+ years hands-on experience with Big Data and AI technologies, including Apache Spark and modern AI/ML workloads
  • •Strong architectural experience to whiteboard, design, and personally build end-to-end solutions
  • •Demonstrated experience supporting large enterprise/Fortune 500 customers, including global/multi-geography support
  • •Coding experience in Python, SQL, Scala, Java, or R; experience building distributed data systems at enterprise scale
