Job Summary

Creative, pragmatic in-house lawyer role supporting Snowflake's Services Delivery and Customer Experience teams. You will structure, negotiate, and close transactional agreements, advise senior leaders, manage risk, and help automate contracting processes in a fast-moving SaaS environment with cross-functional collaboration across Sales, SD, CX, and Alliances. Requires strong SaaS, in-house experience and ability to operate strategically and tactically.

Job Function: Customer Success & Account Management

Key Responsibilities

•Work closely and partner with the Sales, SD and CX teams on transactions that drive the company’s revenue.
•Structure, negotiate, and close transactional agreements.
•Work closely with internal subject-matter experts on various topics that affect your area of business.
•Provide sound advice and guidance on legal and business-related issues to senior business leaders.
•Manage risk and ensure business and compliance needs are accurately reflected in agreements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 177,000 - 232,000 annually

Key Requirements

•A minimum of 5 years of legal experience including in-house experience, preferably with a successful, high-growth enterprise SaaS company.
•Law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and licensed to practice law in the U.S for a minimum of 5 years.
•Strong background dealing with SaaS-centric issues (i.e. revenue recognition, tax, privacy, security, data privacy, intellectual property), professional services and various go to market programs.
•Experience with supporting Statements of Work for professional services, such as drafting the terms, negotiating the terms and supporting a professional services sales team.
