Job Summary

Lead the design, development, and delivery of cloud-native applications for the Enterprise Integration Services team, partnering across Caching Solutions and Rewards System groups. Provide hands-on technical leadership through architecture/design and code reviews, CI/CD implementation, and technology evaluation/POCs. Drive delivery execution by aligning scope and sequencing with Product Management and coordinating with Platform Engineering and external vendors. Ensure operational readiness with strong observability and production monitoring practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead development of cloud-native applications across Sypher, AppPilot, and Presto teams to meet committed business outcomes.
•Drive delivery execution by aligning scope, sequencing, and technical approach with Product Management and maintaining realistic, measurable delivery plans.
•Design and implement CI/CD processes to deploy applications to production and drive continuous improvement.
•Provide hands-on technical leadership via architecture/design reviews, code reviews, and engineering guidance aligned with standards and best practices.
•Perform technology alternate assessments and develop proofs-of-concept to validate options and support technical decision-making.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of system engineering experience, or 10+ years in lieu of a degree.
•8+ years of hands-on development with Java and Spring Boot for enterprise-grade services.
•5+ years designing and implementing cloud-native applications using microservices-based architecture.
•Experience building and rolling out SDKs, including API design, versioning/backward compatibility, documentation, and release management.
•Experience deploying and operating applications on cloud platforms such as AWS and PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry), plus knowledge of relational databases and secure development practices.
