Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement solution architectures supporting Project Design Authority (PDA) for MCM projects.
  • •Create and deliver architectures for MCM projects, analyzing customer needs and technical trade-offs to maximize value.
  • •Develop and manage requirements specifications for system and subsystems, supporting gated reviews throughout the lifecycle.
  • •Define and authorize design descriptions and verification objectives, and provide technical specifications and Interface Control Documentation.
  • •Review technical risks/opportunities and ensure solution compliance with customer needs, product policy, applicable legislation, product safety/security, and Environmental/HSE requirements and standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Act as a technical focal point for solution design, resolving system issues, conflicts, and unusual problems across the full system scope.
  • •Experience delivering solution design for Mine Counter Measures (MCM) and understanding of combat systems.
  • •Experience across developmental lifecycle activities (requirements capture, modelling & analysis, system design, product development, IV&V) and whole systems engineering lifecycles.
  • •Knowledge of requirements toolsets (e.g., IBM DOORS) and configuration control processes.
  • •Hold or be working towards appropriate professional status (CEng) or equivalent.
