Job Summary

Serve as a customer and field service interface supporting the U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Regiment on Hunter Army Airfield. You’ll troubleshoot integrated digital avionics and system/subsystem issues, develop acceptance test procedures, analyze hardware interfaces and wiring schematics, and assess serviceability of optical devices. The role includes static/network data collection, cryptographic keying device handling, flight-test data reduction, training support, and may require atypical hours and significant travel.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as a customer and field service interface, driving improvements based on end user experience.
•Perform corrective actions, special investigations, and product testing for field issues.
•Conduct end-to-end system analysis, including verification/validation, cost and risk, and supportability/effectiveness analyses.
•Troubleshoot systems/sub-systems using serial command line interfaces and remote protocols; develop acceptance test procedures.
•Record, reduce, and plot data from flight tests and conduct scheduled/impromptu training sessions for software loading and troubleshooting.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
•Experience operating/troubleshooting integrated digital avionics management systems on Special Operations rotary wing aircraft (MH-6M, MH-6R, MH-47G, MH-60M).
•Experience with RF energies.
•Experience with Microsoft products including Excel, Visio, and Access Database.
•Experience with wire harness fabrication fundamentals and military installation/repair practices.
