Job Summary

Define and drive systems engineering activities and deliverables for Hospital Patient Monitoring (HPM) solutions, including complex distributed software. Partner with Development, Test, Clinical Engineering, and Risk Management to clarify requirements and ensure shared understanding of system functionality. Model and analyze complex systems to establish system-level requirements, support multi-product Software FMEA, and lead integration efforts across on-prem and cloud medical device and IT infrastructure.

•Collaborate with stakeholders across the requirements hierarchy (including system-of-systems) to ensure consistency and alignment.
•Partner with Development, Test, Clinical Engineering, and Risk Management to provide functional clarifications on system functionality.
•Model and analyze complex systems to define system-level requirements.
•Drive Software FMEA for medical device software and multi-product solutions.
•Support complex integration efforts across on-prem and cloud software solutions, medical devices, and IT infrastructure.

Salary: USD 114,000 - 182,000 annually

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience in systems architecture/systems engineering, ideally for medical devices and software development (including enterprise-level software).
•Strong knowledge of the V-model (emphasis on the left side) and experience eliciting functional and non-functional requirements.
•Experience with systems modeling and model-based systems engineering, including SysML and modeling tools (preferred).
•Experience supporting Software FMEA for medical device software and multi-product solutions.
•Bachelor’s degree required (Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent); Master’s preferred.
