Key Responsibilities

  • •Annotate insurance documents, including locating and labeling limits structures within excess policies and producing structured coverage conclusions.
  • •Review AI-generated outputs and help develop the rubrics and benchmarks that define quality for machine learning pipelines.
  • •Triages coverage, liability, litigation, and damages by interpreting whether alleged losses trigger coverage and assessing facts and claim trajectories.
  • •Produce structured written outputs (not only verbal expertise) and meet annotation throughput targets with high accuracy.
  • •Read policies end-to-end (declarations, forms, endorsements, schedules) and explain precisely how coverage responds across primary and excess layers.

Key Requirements

  • •USA-based; 3+ years of experience minimum, with 5+ years strongly preferred in excess and specialty (E&S) insurance.
  • •Experience in excess and specialty insurance as an underwriter, broker, claims professional, or coverage counsel.
  • •Ability to interpret excess policy structure and render precise coverage conclusions across primary and excess layers.
  • •3+ years of combined policy-side and claims-side experience, including underwriting, coverage attorney work, wholesale broking, and/or claim adjusting/examining.
  • •Experience with General Liability, Professional Liability, or other casualty/specialty lines, plus strong written communication skills.
