•Hire, train, coach, and motivate employees to achieve quality and productivity targets; facilitate involvement through crew meetings, safety teams, and audits.
•Direct and monitor department operations, recommending and implementing process improvements.
•Oversee performance evaluations for the department, including preparing and approving evaluations.
•Coordinate people, materials, and equipment to efficiently utilize departmental resources and meet staffing/production needs.
•Oversee safety, quality, training, retention, sanitation, budget, and productivity; monitor equipment/quality checks and drive safe work habits through training, audits, and investigations.

Key Requirements

•Basic computer skills (e-mail, time & attendance); intermediate skills preferred (spreadsheets and word processing).
•Ability to pass PFT testing for respirator use and complete Lockout/Tagout training; valid Pilgrim’s Pallet jack license (or obtain within 30 days); Class A CDL (or obtain within 6 months) preferred.
