Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect, compile, and analyze field and design information (surveys, blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and computer-generated reports) to support project development, design, and construction.
  • •Perform mechanical engineering work including research and inspections to determine conformance with standards, rules, and construction/operating permits.
  • •Support advanced technology and modeling for mechanical system design, including load calculations and operating strategies for equipment and system integration.
  • •Verify and provide technical assistance on automatic temperature control, air distribution, hydronic systems, and plumbing systems specifications and design issues.
  • •Prepare technical reports, documentation, and visualizations; maintain quality control standards; assist with health and safety plans and scoping of small- to medium-sized projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related discipline).

  • •Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
  • •Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, practices, and the application to project work, including design/build.
