Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as technical subject matter expert for CMM programming, dimensional metrology, GD&T interpretation, and inspection methods.
  • •Develop, validate, and troubleshoot CMM programs and other automated inspection equipment for new and existing products.
  • •Review engineering drawings and GD&T requirements to develop inspection plans and support engineering print reviews.
  • •Partner with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to support DFM, new product introductions, and engineering changes.
  • •Perform PPAP inspections and process capability/measurement studies (Cp/Cpk/Ppk, MSA), using results to support process improvements and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Four (4) year technical degree and three (3) years of related experience (intern/co-op experience considered), or equivalent education and experience.
  • •Experience with manufacturing metrology, quality systems, inspection methods, and dimensional analysis.
  • •Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
  • •Experience programming CMMs (PC-DMIS/CAMIO preferred) and operating inspection equipment (e.g., CMMs, vision systems, optical comparators, height gauges).
  • •Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to interpret dimensional data and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
